Holy Rosary Cathedral (1890)—The oldest building that I currently have in my series on Vancouver's architecture was completed in 1890. This isn't very old, but then the oldest building still in Vancouver was built in about 1865, as this city is not very old: Vancouver was incorporated in 1886. This Gothic style church is the Roman Catholic cathedral of the Archdiocese of Vancouver. It is located at the corner of Richards and Dunsmuir in downtown Vancouver. (January, 2005)
