Totem Poles in Stanley Park—On a narrow neck of land between the main body of Stanley Park and Brockton Point, which juts east into Burrard Inlet and toward Vancouver's downtown core, are the Stanley Park totem poles. These poles represent a variety of the styles and peoples of the Canadian Pacific coastal peoples, and they reside very near the site of one of Vancouver's original native villages. Here they appear in a rare snow-covered scene. (January, 1986)
